Have anybody watched Surf's Up?

It was slightly better than I expected and there's several funny scenes like the chicken meeting the cannablistic penguins  :D ;D







Agree with the review (link above) that the audience could easily tell the chracters apart.

This would probably be the only penguin movie I'd see.

I saw it last Sunday and found it uneventful.  For a cartoon you would expect more excitement.

I think id rather have a pretty girl in my bathtub.

I saw it yesterday...about half way through my 3 year old had had enough, he was ready to go.  Not much going on to keep him interested. My 6 year old enjoyed it more. Story line was predicitable.

I know summer is the time for kids movies, but it seems like the studios are just putting out anything.  Team it with McDonald's Happy Meals and they think they'll have a hit.

The new one by Pixar looks like it will be funny at least.  I have liked every single one of theirs.

Yeah, my kids are looking forward to that one too.  Pixar makes great movies, I liked most of them.  Monster's Inc and A Bug's Life are my least favorite.

Exactly.  I guess Disney/Pixar expected people to have trouble, because they put the pronunciation on all the posters, commercials, etc.  They even have a commercial where they are all saying it out, with the pronunciation going across the screen as they sing.  Cheesy or not, I want to see it.  :)
