I saved up for months to see Springsteen when he came to Atlanta....I'll be doing the same for the Police.
And I'm definitely going to like it.

My grandmother banned me from seeing them in Sydney in the early 80s and I have never forgiven her to this day :(
Man I really really hope they come down here on the reunion tour.

I don't know, I wasn't too impressed with the Grammies performance. I don't think it attracted many new fans. They only did one song, and it's the one song everyone already knows they recorded. Couldn't they have done a medley or something? Non-Police fans wont be inclined to buy tickets to the tour if that performance is what they have to go by. It would've been cool if they performed a bit of Roxanne to say "Hey, all you youngsters out there. We are The Police and you may not have heard of us, but I'm sure you've heard this song". Then when people go, "Oh cool, these are the guys that do Roxanne", they should've shown the younger crowd some of the other songs they do like "Every Breath You Take" and "Message in a Bottle". Because I know most young people would've have seen the performance and at the end of the performance thought "Roxanne" was the only thing they had to offer. I don't see this tour being a huge success. But I could be wrong, and I hope for their sake I am.
