Subject: Old School Sesame Street

Have any of you purchased the newly released DVD boxset, "Sesame Street: Old School" yet? This looks like it is gonna be interesting...they only have volume 1 out so far...I will be anxious for when the volume comes out that consists of early 80's to mid 80's footage.

i bought a really cool hardcover book years ago called 'sesame street:unpaved' which rocks..i'm thinkin' i'll need to own the dvd sooner than later!! :)

I remember when I was little in the early and mid '90s watching Sesame Street when it was still good. I believe Elmo was there, but he didn't have as much popularity back then.

There was one Sesame Street clip I loved when I was a kid. This baby muppet sat in her high chair, and sang a disco song about being a baby ..

i still say you're makin' it up :P ;)..when i was in my youtube sesame street clip addiction phase i searched high,i searched low..no sign..and believe me,i scoured the ends of the earth..till i was banned for copyright :-[ ::) ;D

It exists. I used to see it all the time on Sessame Street. In the days when they had that one clip where Grover was in a movie theatre but couldn't see cause that woman in front of him had on this hat with giant feathers ;D
Also this one where this muppet guy was in a restaurant and kept complaining about his soup ;D

Speaking of old school Sesame Street....do you guys remember the Christmas special, "Christmas Eve On Sesame Street?" I have it on VHS...I have watched it ever since I was very young..and I still watch it...and now Vaughn loves it. I love how all of the characters at the beginning are all ice skating...it's so cute.

Years later I found out that was actually the Pointer Sisters singing, Kinda cool
