Ashley Tisdale plays sardonic candy counter clerk "Maddie Fitzpatrick" on "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and snobby "Sharpay Evens" on the infamous "High School Musical". Started out doing musical theatre ("Annie", "Les Miz"), commercials, tv shows ("Charmed", "Still Standing"), and even the cult film "Donnie Darko". She also performed at the White House at the age of 12.

For a young actress, she's actually good and would top other sitcom actresses in their later 20's and 30's, IMO.

She's also recording her debut CD for Warner Bros. records, which probably be out in 2007. She recorded a new version of "Kiss The Girl" for the special edition DVD of "The Little Mermaid"

Personally, I prefer her acting instead. Especially that her voice sounds fake, like the majority of today's pop acts, on "High School Musical". Though have to admit that she's a great dancer. Which she was even offered to be on the reality show "Dancing With The Stars".

She's co-writing several songs on the album and stated that it'll be different than most pop acts.

I picture her on a popular sitcom on Fox or NBC, if they give her a chance.

She is cute and all, but she can't really act.  PErhaps as she gets older, she will graduate into film with some dramatic roles.  These teen stars of today will grow up to be the mature actors of tomorrow 8)
