Subject: How long will the Indie thing last?

Someone around here was saying some time ago that the 2010s would be the Indie decade... But aren't we already seeing this happening? I mean bling-bling hip hop seems to be disappearing in favor of emo/indie stuff, we're having the whole MySpace thing and the popularity of post-punk revival. This would suggest that the late '00s will be the era of Indie, so wouldn't it be unlikely that it would continue throughout the 2010s?
