NEW YORK (AP) - The PBS Kids Sprout network has fired the host of The Good Night Show after learning she had appeared in videos called Technical Virgin.

The host, Melanie Martinez, had alerted network officials about one of the videos late last week and she was immediately taken off the air. "PBS Kids Sprout has determined that the dialogue in this video is inappropriate for her role as a preschool program host and may undermine her character's credibility with our audience," said Sandy Wax, network president.

For three hours each evening, The Good Night Show airs soothing stories and cartoons designed to get an audience of two-to-five-year-olds ready for bed. Each night, Martinez guides a puppet character into dreamland. Martinez is a stage actress and mother of a toddler.

In the two Technical Virgin videos - made before she landed the children's show job - she spoofs PSAs about how young women can keep their virginity.

PBS Kids Sprout airs children's programming 24 hours a day and is seen in about 20 million of the 110 million television homes in the U.S. The Good Night Show has been temporarily replaced by cartoons while a search is conducted for a new host

WOW! She did a spoof! Does that take away from what she does each night for kiddos? No, because I doubt her audience has the capacity to understand that she talked about anal sex. Big f*cking deal.

He was caught with "Child Porn" a couple years back.  He claims that he has always had a collection of some kind of "Old Art" dating back over hundreds of years, and some of them happen to have nude drawn children.  I don't think it's that big of a deal, alot of people collect that crap

It's cool though, Pee Wee is back on his feet and as popular as ever today.  He's actually Directing Music Videos now and just recently directed (and starred in) the Music Video for "Steady, As She Goes" by The Raconteurs (which, might I add, happens to be the #1 Rock Song in America currently)

They're at least under the age of 5- and kids who are 5 and under the age of 5 are most likely to know nothing about sex

PeeWee was minding his own business in an arena that was used for what he was doing. He wasn't doing anything wrong to anyone else.

I have watched Sprout many times with my kids, and this girl has as much personality as a block of wood...I hope her spoofs were a little bit more entertaining.  LOL!!

I'm suprised.  I watch the Goodnight show, sometimes, lol.  She's 36 too!  She seems like she's ALOT younger.
