When I watch an actor, the face is very important and when a 'lead' character in a movie has an oddity about their look, it takes concentration away from the action to trying to figure out ' why he has a crooked nose'  (this works great for a character,i.e. Elephant Man, a gangster,Jake Lamotta), but it doesn't fit for a young guy.

One other actor as well comes off odd to me: Steve Carell...he too..fine actor..but something seems askew.

For me it would have to be Kyra Sedgwick.  Talk about hard to watch... she always looks like she doesn't have any teeth.  That's hard to watch. If The Closer would only close her mouth...

I think that Owen Wilson is ok an actor, I would have to say that Jean Claude Van Damme is a hard to watch actor, as far as I am concerned

Maybe just hearing his voice will be better in CARS

I like Owen Wilson's acting, but I think his brother Luke is a better actor

I don't really like watching Julia Louis-Dreyfuss.  I still see her as annoying Elaine on Seinfeld

I can't stand Jim Carey with all his exagerated face pulling.

Ben Affleck.  His acting talent is so mediocre.

Its same with John Wayne.  How he got to be a Hollywood legend is beyond me.

I kind of know what you mean. He is definitely like Seinfeld in that they make a show based around them and their comedy routines and the comedy is great but they themselves aren't particularly gifted in the acting department.

In fact, to me, George and Kramer make that show, not Jerry.
