This is too funny. I wonder if the DT's are painful. :P I think I may need to have my husband signed up. ;D

Jeezus, it took this long? When I was a kid, the grownups were fretting about the amount of time we were playing videogames, even the arcade games you had to feed a quarter per play! The only brush I had with addiction was when Doom came out. I was in college. I'd had no interest in video games of any sort since Pac-Man, and suddenly I was obsessed. I finally beat the highest level, and my roommate went and downloaded the next version!
::)
Oh dear...it's just a question of time before they set up the porno-detox!
:o

I know at least 3 people that this would be perfect for. I'm serious, the similarities between the way they play video games and the way people use crack, it's scary. Plus, this would make them a whole lot less unbearable to talk to. ;D

I have found video game "addicts" so personally annoying, I would rather they stay in their rooms and play video games.

Perhaps we shouldn't be laughing at this. Could there be an inthe00's detox soon? :o :P

I've never been a gaming addict...sure I probably played a touch more than was healthy, but I always knew my limits, and actually stopped to eat meals, go to bed.etc (most of the time).

That'll require more de-programming than de-tox.

My friend's roommate in college had a huge stack of calzone boxes next to his desk. Definitely a warning sign!

I bought a PSP amidst the cloud of hype in Sept. last year: subsequently, I spent a period absolutely obsessed with the puzzle game 'Lumines', before consigning the PSP to a dusty shelf, rarely to be played again.
