A beer bottle usually won't puncture a good radial, but you don't want those shards of glass weakening your tire, so you learn to keep an eye out for them...

i believe it to be my patriotic duty to inform you about this problem.  screws are everywhere, and they're attracted to tires for some reason, i believe due to magnetism.  it's a nationwide epidemic and it's getting worse every day. i just looked out my office window and now i see the screw sticking out of my tire again!

that would never work because this thing is over 18" long and spinny.  if it were just a nail i could do that. but, as i've said several thousand times already, it's a screw.  please advise.

oh, and when i pull in, my tire is flat.  i forgot that.  i have to inflate it EVERY SINGLE NIGHT before bed so it has enough air in it to last all night. it's flat again when i wake up in the morning so inflate it again.  then the screw is back in the tire again at the end of my work day.

well it's official. i've flipped my lid.  this morning was the last straw.  i took that screw out of my tire and threw it in my pool.  no more than 5 minutes later, i'm about to pull away from my house and the screw is back!!!! this time, it's sticking through my tire and into my brake pad, causing the brake to malfunction and my car to slide out of control for 3 feet!  i hit my mailbox.  the screw landed on its pointy end, stood up straight, then fell on the ground, never to be seen again.  it's back in my tire now and i'm at work.  my mailbox is sticking out of my exhaust pipe and i'm fuming.

luv ya bill but i lie awake at night concerned that you're out there, operating a motor vehicle.

see, it has to do with gravity, which when combined with the placement of the screw beneath the tire combines with the weight of the car to create a recurrent screw-in-tire situation.

this screw followed me to work today, it's sitting next to me right now... drilling itself into my foot.

All: The following offices are scheduled to be painted and carpeted over this coming weekend.

In order to do so you will need to pack up all items on the surface tops of your desks, file cabinets, window sills, floors and so on. Boxes have been provided and can be found by the large window at the front entrance of the building on the 2nd floor. Be sure to tape a post it to each box with your name on it so it is put back into the same office upon completion



Any multi-piece desk that can be unfastened will be removed from the offices. Please empty any drawers to prevent items from falling out during this move. Large 1 piece desks will remain in the office and moved around during carpet installation.



Please lock any drawers in cabinets that you can to keep the drawers from opening during the move



I will be around either Thursday or Friday to take a look and draw out a diagram of each room so that the furniture is put back in the same places.

i was driving to work...screw free...when all of a sudden the screw jumps out of my trunk (where i put it last night) and forces itself into my tire.  mind you, this thing is 18" long and about 3" thick.  my tire blows out, my car flipped 32 times on the freeway and landed in a river.  luckily, i work along that river so when i just used the screw to paddle my way to shore when i got here.  i pulled the car out of the river and it's sitting in the parking lot to dry.  needless to say, my car is damaged.  but it looks okay and runs fine.  i just need to know if that screw will do that to me again.  what do you think? i guess the little ba$tard saved me life. it saved me life.

I had this same problem.  I had a screw in my tire that just would not go away, so I called up "Screws R Us" and they sent a guy over to take care of that screw.  He brought this big machine, that sucked the screw up, then crushed it into nothing.  That screw finally went away.  That'll teach that nasty screw to mess with me
