I'd say the iPod really defines the '00s. It's compact, plain looking, and hi tech.

iPod...I once did a thread like this, actually. I think if you want to see the ideals of what teens were supposed to be like in the '00s, you should watch The O.C..

I've never really watched the OC, I've seen a little bit while flipping through channels, but I never watched an episode in full.

Yeah, I think we have a hit with the IPod. Basically it's what the Walkman was to the 80's.

The device of the '00s is the iPod, the book is The DaVinci Code, the movies are Lord of the Rings and Napoleon Dynamite, the TV shows are The O.C. and Desperate Housewives, and the website is MySpace.

I'd say it's a tie between bling bling and the ipod because the term and actual 'bling bling' was and still is really popular...but then again so is the ipod, hence the tie ;D

90s website would be Yahoo! - I used it all the time back then, compared to now which is once a week to check my e-mail (haven't ventured to Gmail yet)
