I have been wondering, does anybody else in here participate in writing or adding to articles on Wikipedia?

Over the last few years, it has been one of my favorite sources for information on almost anything.  Because it is written and expanded by users, it can be a very interesting source of information.

If you do, how about shareing your User Pages?  It might help some of us understand what makes you tick.

I keep meaning to expand the entries on trace beaulieu, Spence milligan and kim richards. but I've been too busy.

I've added memorable movie quotes to imdb. That's sorta wikipediaesque.

With me, is a little bit of everything.  I participated for years anonymously before I set up a user ID.  Here are some of the things I worked on:

I also am a contributor to IMDB.  For example, I was surprised that they had no article about "The Johnny Yune Show".  I have also started articles on a few other movies and TV shows that are not widely known.  I also frequently contribute trivia and quotes.

In fact, my most recent addition was a quote for the movie MacArthur, with Gregory Peck.

IMDB another good information website.

I contribute to wikipedia quite often.  I edit pages every now and then, but so far, I have made three wikipedia pages ...

I go to Wikipedia alot. But never contributed though.

All the time.  Many of the pop culture facts in the 1990s and 2000s articles were written by me, along with much of the Gen Y page.

I also try to network the Wikipedia to charity sites.

I just edit or contribute to anything I come across that I see needs improving.

I've wrote a few niche articles on the old Wikepedia - an article on my local shopping mall, an article on the obscure British 'Pscyadalia' band Timebox, one on the Elephant-nose Fish...If anyone's interested...

For some reason, several of my articles were deleted. None contained copyrighted material, inaccurate information, objection material...so I don't quite understand why. Unless some...obnoxious person deleted them. Ah well...
