The only proper job I ever had was working at Toy'r'us. It was the same every day; stack this, arrange this, tell another customer you're not allowed to let them use to staff toilets...I'd imagine most all jobs are the same drag...

Attendant at a state psychiatric facility. In NJ they get lousy pay and little training on how to deal humanely with patients.

I hear ya. I don't want to work at all-so I don't.  ;D  When people would ask me what I "wanted to be when I grew up", I would say, I want to be rich and be my own boss.  ;D  Well, I am my own boss but rich...?  :-\\  1 out of 2 ain't bad.

Besides all the jobs shown on Dirty Jobs on the Discovery Channel...the job I would definitely no apply for is the one I saw in TIME magazine.  It was a soldier going to the homes of soldiers killed in action.  The pictures of the soldier holding the wives who lost their husbands was very emotional to me that I could not even imagine the emotions and feelings they go through.  One wife starting swearing at him, telling him to go away, then holding him at her husbands furneral.  Though it isn't physical, the emotional drain must be tremendous.

Seen as I'm a journalism student...I would never ever work for Fox news - I just couldn't do it.

::)  Psychiatric crisis intervention counselor...having been a psychiatric crisis client quite a few times, I've seen what and who they have to deal with...people who have to be in four-point restraints for the counselors' safety as well as their own, mentally ill people who have either gone off their meds or OD'd on them, people who think they're God or Satan, bipolar disorder patients in either a really manic or really depressed state, cutters, suicidal people.....

I wonder how crisis workers deal with it all and keep their own sanity intact!  :o

Southwest Airlines passenger service employee...I watch that show, Airline, and I've seen some of the crap they have to deal with as far as the customer....stuff like pulling drunks off planes, passengers getting 'bumped' and then getting into a hissy fit, lost luggage, passengers who don't show up at the boarding gate on time and then raise holy h*ll when they can't get another flight...

But I'd bet Southwest employees are not the only airline personnel that have to deal with it all.
