Subject: When Shows Will Be Cancelled

The Simpsons-2007 or 2008 will be the last season, the movie will be the finale. But the Simpsons really dragged out a horse that admittedly died around 1998.
South Park-Like 2008.
Family Guy (again)-Like 2009 or 2010.
ER-2007.
The O.C-2009

American Idol-2011

Has a Simpsons movie been confirmed yet? Haven't heard any news about it. To me honest, as much as a Simpsons fan I am, I don't water in the mouth when each new episode comes on. They're getting a bit tired and overdone - 17 years is a long time for any series to be running.
For the other shows,
South Park - maybe 2007
Family Guy - 2008
ER - 2008
The 0.C. - 2009 (this one's still get plenty of legs)
American Idol - 2008 (Australian Idol's already been cancelled after three seasons)
Desperate Housewives - 2010
Lost - 2010
Survivor - Never

Predicting when shows will end is almost impossible. Remember Family Matters? It ran for 9 seasons, far longer than anyone expected :o

South Park - The show will end when the boys decide to quit or when someone files a lawsuit against the show (and wins) - whichever is first
Family Guy - 2007 They'll do one full season (20-22 episodes) then call it quits
ER - Will probably superseed Law And Order as the longest running US drama starting in the 90s
The O.C. - 2007-2008

Pop Idol - 2011 It's not going anywhere anytime soon, sadly enough
Desperate Housewives - 2015 or thereabouts. Most popular show on TV apparently.....
Lost - 2009 sounds right

Boston Legal - 2014 Wishful thinking, one of the better dramas on TV right now.
The Office - 2006 I don't much like the US version of this show.

Wouldn't be surpirised if New Zealand Idol is cancelled in the next season or 2 either. 2 series, 2 idols and 2 cds... both in the 99c bin at your local CD store.

OFF is going to end well before 2010, I think the end of it will be when the supposed movie comes out in 2008, at the latest. But it sucks major crap now and the only reason it's on still supposedly is that Fox makes them keep it on for the ratings, it's creatively shot. The last decent year for it was like 1997, and it peaked in 1993, for god's sakes.
