Yeah the whole thing has a very 1997 neo-'80s look to it. My gosh, that thing is so awful it's hilarious.

That truly is THE definition of supercamp.
You hit the nail right on the head, it's like a neo-'80s Cyndi Lauper or Madonna video but with a very 1997 Spice Girls, 11-year old girl production aesthetic and quality.
I looked her up, I think she's an Icelandic Eurovision song contest contestant.

I think Europe had the '90s a lot cheesier than us Americas, but I'm not sure. The teen pop I believe was popular throughout the '90s and into this decade.

I think Europe is cheesier in general...the '80s is apparently even more popular over there right now, and they had this whole weird techno-teen pop thing going on in the '90s that still might be going on. I'm surprised Iceland couldn't do better. "Hey God! What's up dawg? It's Silvia Night!"
