I don't want to use the phrase teen pop, as adults might listen to, but anyone have any favourite or non favourite pop acts of the 2000's or even late 90's ?

As my name says, i am an Atomic Kitten fan  :)

I also liked a few songs by Backstreet boys and spice girls.  Cheesy i know, but they were catchy what can i say

Hilary Duff is the worst pop act, even worse than Ashlee Simpson.

The best would be Kelly Clarkson or Maroon 5, if you're talking straight pop.

In the early 2000's, there was this one song I really loved called More Than I Needed to Know by a teen pop group called Scooch.  I liked that song so much, I rushed out to buy the album.  Needless to say, that was the only song on the CD that I liked.  The rest of the songs were just too cheesy for my liking

This being said, I will also admit that I own several CD's by Westlife, Sugababes, All Saints, Steps, Boyzone and 911 (the latter who did a really great cover version of the Dr. Hook song A Little Bit More).  These may be cheesy, but these artists do have a few catchy songs :)

Best: Ashley Tisdale (but not her acting)

Worst: Britney Spears

Best: Coldplay

Worst:  Ashlee Simpson

Best:  Madonna (at least the most recent album), and maybe some Gwen Steffani.

Worst:  Ashlee Simpson.
