I was just curious if anyone has been hypnotized before? I want to go and have it done but I was wondering what people think about it? Can anyone or everyone go under? Im looking for ways to quit smoking and a friend of mine suggested this... Please post any info anyone has? Thanks KElly

I have no experience with it personally, but I though this website was sort of interesting: http://www.possibilities.nu/faq1.htm
Of course, it's an FAQ for a place that profits from people believing in the virtues of hypnotism, so I'm sure it's not a definitive source, but it's a start anyway...

Thank u, i need to quit.... I really feel I might be ready right now, its just so hard right now, I have Mega Stress right now so they are my vice.... That and a Nice BIG BIG glass of Merlot.... < Only once in a blue moon>

I've been hypnotized a few times... it's very soothing. You come out very refreshed. You have to believe it for it to really work, though.
Post-hypnotic suggestion can be used to change people's habits, such as quitting a drug.. I've heard it works fairly well, too.

It was tried on me one time but it didn't work. I don't know if it was the guy who was trying it or me.

I've been hypnotized - it's the sleep you have when you're not having a sleep. I always felt very relaxed after I'd been "under". Good luck - smoking is so hard to give up (but worth it!). I gave up in 1988.

I REALLY WANT TO TRY IT AND I HOPE IT WORKS FOR ME... I was just alittle worried that it might open a Pandoras Box and PLEASE>> My therapist makes enough cash from me....
