Subject: "Gunsmoke", "McCloud" Star Dennis Weaver Dies At 81

Dennis Weaver, who gained TV fame as Deputy Chester Goode on "Gunsmoke", then as Marshal Sam McCloud on the crime show "McCloud" passed away today at 81 (ironically the same age as Don Knotts). He was also in Stephen Spielberg's TV thriller "Duel". :\'(

Read about this today, very sad to hear, as he was a great actor. I saw 'Duel' this past Summer, VERY good movie.

I loved watching McCloud in the 90's when they showed it in re-runs on A&E. He will be missed. R.I.P.

I just found this out in the newspaper this morning. He was in the obits section.
Just a few days ago it was Don Knotts who checked out. He was 81, too. :\'(
Anyway, both guys will be missed. :\'( :\'( :(
