So very sad... A Christmas Story is one of my favorite movies of all time, and Darren was absolutely brilliant in that role... He will certainly be missed... :\'(

Sad weekend. I remember him best from A Christmas Story.

It's been a bad weekend for the stars. My whole family is one big "Christmas Story" fan club, so McGavin's passing is noted with great sadness. :(

I loved him in A Christmas Story. I bought my husband a Christmas tree ornament this past christmas of that funky leg lamp from the movie. He was so good in that movie. RIP :(

Me too.
