Now that we are 2 weeks into 2006, I was wondering what you all think of the year so far, and what are your predictions for the rest of the year. Here are my predictions:

I think that the music will suck this year (the lack of good music started around fall '05 and will continue going downhill until 2007). Also, Kevin Federline is releasing his rap album and you know that's going to be garbage.

There are some movies coming out that I want to see (Superman Returns, X3, MI-3, Final Destination 3, Da Vinci Conde, Date Movie, etc.). I think the box office of this year will be just as good as last year if not better.

The TV shows this year are crappy so far (if you're tired of reality shows), with more celebreality shows like the one with celebraties ice skating.

^ Yeah, this year is still too new to really evaluate how I feel about it. Ask me in June or July, lol.

On an upside, the Winter Olympics look to be interesting.

January is still really 2005 as far as I'm concerned. The year won't feel like 2006 until at least February. The Chinese have it right by celebrating their new year around then.  ::)

To them though, Feb would be just like 2005.

Actually, in the fall of '05 I felt like it was 2006!  ;D

2006, pop culturally, has sucked ... so far.  It's turned toward '90s-style.

Great actress, but lousy singer...


Deborah Gibson will never make a "comeback", though still is a great artist... though many people look at her as a washed up hasbeen, especially with "Skating with Celebrities"...



"Drawn Together" will air "banned" episode on January 25th...worth watching

It's been pretty good. My mind seems to have quickly automaticaly switched from 2005 to 2006. However, 2006 so far seems to be an exact copy of 2005. Oh well, give it a few more months.

2006 is a pretty good year so far because I'm still attending the Pilot Project and adult education classes during my break from college.

Music started going downhill way before 2005, possibly in 1999? Since 2003, I think music has gone better - not all the rap rubbish, but there have been a lot of great artists and bands around since then (The Killers, The Editors, KT Tunstall, to name but a few).

And on a final note, I don't think I can say what I think about 2006 until December!!

Besides college, which I already started...I'm pretty excited that P.O.D. plan to release a new CD this year....and the Airbus A380 starts commercial flights with Singapore Airlines soon!

I hope I get to see an A380 up close and personal someday.
