There's a band from NJ called the Smithereens, anyone here besides me ever heard of them or like their music?
I have some of their stuff, fave song is "A Girl Like You"....I love the guitar sound of The Smithereens' stuff, gritty, loud....

I have kind of mixed feelings about the Smithereens. I too thought that they had a great sound but I also thought that their lyrics, most of them which had this whole "You broke my heart, woe is me" theme to them got kind of grating after a while.
