Subject: great shows that fox has canceled
Written By: annonymouse on 01/02/06 at 12:04 am
ok, i know i already started a subject about "great shows that were canceled" but because fox is so famouse for their cancelations of great shows ( futurama family guy much more) i thought i'd start a topic focusing on them. fox. see i hate fox! it takes them way to long to get more episodes of lost. they canceled family guy. (which they luckily brought back) and most of all, they canceled futurama without even letting us or the crew know ahead of time. they just stopped ordering episodes and the futurama crew wasnt making any money and they broke apart. they canceled futurama just to strike back at matt groening for making fun of them in all his productions. they couldnt get rid of simpsons that would be to much of a loss. finnaly 4 years later, they're thinking about making a strait to dvd movie of futurama. I STILL HAte them!!! FUTURAMA R.I.P
our good friends at fox are dumbasses

I was sad when they cancelled 'Fastlane'. Regardless that the show was popular, it apparently cost the price of a motion picture to make each episode, so they had no choice but to cancel it :\'(

Futurama might be coming back to Fox. The DVD sales are comparable to that of Family Guy.
They cancelled:
Greg the Bunny
Andy Rictor Controls the Universe
and it looks like Arrested Development

Big Fan of Family Guy, but I can't blame it all on Fox when it did get cancled. Let's just say they were being influenced a great deal.

I know im so mad about Arrested being cancelled but I guess they gave it time to grow.. people like crap and thats why they cancel shows.. I think it stinks cause like shows on WB have less viewers and they are still one... I hope someone else picks up Arrested..... :\'(

It might not get cancelled. Right now, they are running promos for "Save Arrested Development". We can only hope it does get saved. I really like the show. It's so good to see Jason Bateman back on TV :)

I also heard that producer Brian Grazer is shopping around different networks for if FOX does cancel it, another network might pick it up. All the show needs is a good time slot. the show can't find an audience, because FOX puts it in a time slot against shows watched by 10's of millions >:(

I know..I swear Fox wants it to fail.. Funny that it was on Sundays and then Mondays.. Its up agianst the CBS lineup I think... Not helping FOX!!!!!!! :D They did the same thing with Bernie Mac and Malcom in the Middle not to mention King of the Hill,.... Is that show even on still?

You'd think FOX would try to keep it alive. Since FOX seems to specialize in comedy shows about Messed up families, Arrested Development is like the Married ... With Children of today ;D
King of the Hill is still on. Come on Sundays I believe :)

Oh I know, it is like the Married with Children.. They are dumba**es! I was watching a DVD on Seinfeld and I heard Fox passed on that show.. But u know what? In the end I think its the viewers, I for the life of me cannot figure out some crap stays on < well in my opinion > and the good ones get swept under the rug.. I always sorta thought networks give up on shows too darn quick! Its like u hear about the show 1 week and then boom... cancelled!

I think King of the Hill is in its final season...seems like Mike Judge said he thought the show had ran its course.
I was upset Fox cancelled Reunion... now we'll never know who the killer was and why they did it... >:(
I'm upset that they cancelled Reunion too. I thought it was a great concept for a show. Hope Arrested Development doesn't get the axe.

You forgot John Doe...which is on my list. I also liked Reunion. Here's hoping they have enough taped episodes for the DVD release WHICH THEY BETTER HURRY UP AND DO!!!!!
Oh yeah and The Inside. I like the new shows they have like Bones and Criminal Minds but I still think the Inside was better than these two put together.
