Some people might be a bit creeped out by me saying this, but doesn't this movie have undertones of bestiality? I mean, it's a love story about a woman and a giant monkey.... how weird is that? :o
And it's probably even more true of this new version than the original. In the original, it was just King Kong who was in love with the woman. She didn't love him back. But the new movie is much longer, and has many more scenes. And it seems like that in it, the woman DOES have feelings for King Kong.
I was watching a clip of the movie on TV where Kong and Naomi Watts are cosying up to each other, and there were a bunch of other people watching it with me, and they were all going "ewww, ewww, ewww."

More than that...WHERE DOES HE GO TO THE BATHROOM..that was quite a long trek, someone must have clean up after him ..THEN when he was loose, no one seemed to discover him until it was too late with no trail behind him!
And what did he eat all that time???? :D :D :D

In the 1933 original with Fay Wray they were playing on stereotyped fear of a certain ethno-cultural bogeyman. 'Nuff said.

It's rated R, so do we ever see the apes big giant erect penis? I'm just wondering how far Peter Jackson is taking this, he could make a soft core porn flick out of this.
