Apparently it's been an urban legend for years... although I never heard of it until now...but they are claiming it may not be a myth after all.

I wouldn't worry about it. You're going to die. Period. Therefore you're going to die of something or other. Chances are the dying process is not going to be pleasant. So if you give up shaving and antiperspirant produces and walk around hairy and sweaty for the rest of your life, you'll still die of cancer or heart disease caused by something else. People talk to me about longevity, and about what you have to eat, and how you have to exercise to insure longevity. My grandfather (who didn't live the life of an ascetic healthnut, btw) turned 100 last September. Do I want to live to be 100? No thanks.
Most of these "health" reports from the evening news are bogeyman stories to unnerve the general public. Often times a contradictory "study" is floating out there at the same d@mn time!

Everything we do, eat, take into our bodies has the potential to kill us. I say just let it be and ignore these stupid "Studies" ::)

Man, if smoking 2 packs a day is good for ya, then I am going to become a chain smoker / second hand chain smoker. The more smoke, the merrier ;D

Studies also show that continuous drinking of alcohol , is also good for your health. ;D

Here's what I've heard: Anti-perspirant (not regular deoderant) contains aluminum, and supposedly using it over a period of decades can lead to Alzheimer's disease.

I fyou've ever done any volunteer work in a Senior or Long Term Care Facility, you have to wonder why anyone wants to live past the age where they can care for themselves. I hope my mind goes before my body. :-\\

haha yeah I'm not too worried about it...seems like almost everything causes cancer or some other disease these days...

It's the ones with aluminum in it. Easy to weed out, I have been doing it for years because I am
allergic to metals, I cant' wear anything like that close to my skin, ( so precious am I) ::)

I use Arrid roll-on antiperspirant because I don't like having to use those other kinds that the stores sell.

I use Mitchum Creme. Put on some of that stuff and you don't have to use it again for like a week. :P
