I would say Hollaback Girl, Candy Shop, and Wake Up (Hilary Duff has no talent).

I voted for the ridiculously stupid "My Humps"... has to be one of the silliest songs...ever... and there have been plenty of seriously silly songs... :D

I forgot about Madonna's "Hung Up"... :P
Then again, I can't stand any of her songs from this decade and the 1990's (except "Vogue" from 1990).

Almost all of the ones in the poll were bad songs... although people who say "EVERYTHING FROM THIS YEAR SUCKS!!!" piss me off. I get sick of hearing how much everything that wasn't made in the 80s sucks. There is good music, you just have to be willing to look for it. Otherwise, stick to your 8-tracks and quit yer bitchin'.
But anyway.. "My Humps" is a terrible song, and a terribly over-played song.
I've never heard the Bowling for Soup song, but then.. it's Bowling for Soup. So it automatically gets a vote.
"Hollaback Girl", as terrible as it is, cracks me up. I sometimes listen to it out of irony. ;D

DTH's "Listen To Your Heart" and "Because of You" by Kelly Clarkson
I can't believe the nerve of covering my Roxette song.

50 Cent's Candy Shop. I quite like Hilary Duff's Wake Up and Jessica Simpson's These Boots Are Made For Walkin'.

My vote went to Moneyback, Gwen, I mean "Hollaback Girl" because
a) The song is freaking annoying and lyrically on par with "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"
b) The video is stupid and
c) I haven't had the misfortune of hearing most of the rest of these songs to know if there are worse out there.
The only reason I didn't say all 2005 music sucks is Green Day and Cold Play and a few lesser knowns have put out a few good ones this year.
Dishonorable mention goes out to D4L's "Laffy Taffy". Never heard it? Just repeat "Laffy Taffy" about 200 times in 4 minutes and you now know the song.

The worst song of the year would have to be "Don't Cha" by the Pussycat Dolls. I can't stand that song!

Jesse McCartney's "Beautiful Soul" :P
Even though the episode of "The Suite Life" was funny...
though highly doubt that Green Day would appear on the show like several fans at TV.com would like to see (I would like too see a good band too, though Disney wouldn't allow them for dumb reasons ::) )
(BTW, there's a couple later teens/early 20 somethings who watch the show)

They're all completely awful, but I didn't mind Hollaback Girl as much as the others. I especially hate 50 bloody cent - aaarrrghhh, I have the song playing in my head, get it out, get it out now!!!
