It is some sort of tofu/soybean creation that satisfies a vegetarian's lust for real, live turkey. :P
As for me, I'd much rather have a Turducken. http://www.cruftbox.com/cruft/docs/turduckhen.html. Just wish they would come up with a name for it that did not start with those 4 letters. ;D

Meh, I respect veganism and vegetarianism.. mainly cause I dated a vegetarian once, and also because I know I could never do it. ;D

I could NEVER be either vegan or vegetarian...Hey, I gotta have my Whopper Jr. once in awhile...and IMO Thanksgiving is not complete without nap-inducing, L-Tryptophan laden TURKEY! Oh well, that and NFL Football...

I've never tried Tofurky but I've heard that it's good, and tasty and healthy. You people must have serious anger issues when you have to resort to slandering FOOD! ???

I do NOT support PETA, since some PETA nuts say people should not even keep DOMESTIC CATS as pets...If my cat Tika could speak English, she'd tell the PETA freaks "I'm quite happy with the human willing-servant that tends to my every wish!"

nothing wrong with being a vegetarian...I did it for a good while, and I might be going back to it...I felt a lot healthier when I was not eating meat.

Uh, yeah, that was "geeks." Freaks were more like the bearded lady, the dog-faced boy, the human pin cushion and so forth. In some communities "freaks" are, uh, ladies of easy leisure!

I have had various amounts of "fake" meat and don't be fooled, this stuff CAN taste excellent. I mean yes, it may not be the "Real" thing, but I have found my diet to be even more varied due to the interesting non-meat foods I've been introduced to by my vegetarian boyfriend.

I said I would RATHER eat jello , then something passed off as meat. Yes I know what jello is made of. ;) I don't like that too much either.
I like tofu in certain soups but thats all. If I'm gonna eat meat , then I want MEAT. I don't want meat substitutes or by-products. SPAM is NOT meat either. Who ever invented that, must have a stomach made out of steel.

I would suggest some restaurants that serve extremely good vegetarian food for you and you may change your mind about it :0) I always think when I eat vegetarian food is: "Wow, I don't have to worry about bones, gizzards, fat, or getting sick off of undercooked meat when I eat this stuff" Just a little less worry!
I try not to order those types of foods anyways when I go out. ;D Nothing wrong with eating vegetarian meals. I stopped eating red meat for 6 months. I don't have to have meat, I just want it every once in awhile ;)
