Subject: MP3 Player Recommendations?
Written By: MP3 Player on 11/16/05 at 1:11 pm
I'm looking for a good basic inexpensive player.
I don't need a lot of memory 'cause I don't think I need to keep more than 100 songs on there at a time. The most important thing is to get something sturdy and compact and cheap.
Any recommendations?

Thanks for the suggestions, especially the tip about the solid state memory. I refuse to shop at the bowels of hell, but I'm sure I can find one someplace else. ;D

512mb and very unique. It's made by a stay at home dad, and official sanctioned by the PEZ corporation.
It's what I plan on getting. 1 AAA battery runs it for 20 hours. If you want, you can always retrofit a different head onto it with a dremel tool and a little bit of work.
