Subject: Favourite chocolate bar

I like the Milky Way/Mars bar the best.
http://www.milkywaybar.com/products/images/prod_bar01.jpg
It's called Milky Way in the United States, but it's called Mars in other countries(don't know why... it's the exact same chocolate bar, made by the exact same company).

Anything with just plain milk chocolate-and I do like it with nuts, too.
Somebody once told me that M&Ms with peanuts are the "perfect" food. There is milk chocolate that has calcium in it. The peanut provides protein, etc. etc. ;D

I've gotta say that I prefer chocolate bars that are soft and chewy. The hard, crunchy bars like Kit Kat, Twix and Crispy Crunch I don't care too much for. And I don't really like Snickers that much, either.

For me:
1.) Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
2.) M & M's.
3.) Other--Hershey's Whatchamacallit.
I like the taste of Butterfingers, but I hate how they stick to my teeth.

Yeah, Butterfingers are so sticky, gooey once they melt in your mouth and lodge into the crevices of your teeth - then you wish you never ate the little bugger! Thanks alot Bart Simpson! lol.

Mars bars are the definition of deliciousness.. but sadly, they don't sell them much.. at least around here.
3 Musketeers and Twix are a tie for me.. I'm a sucker for nougat, I really am, but sometimes it's just too much chocolate.. it depends.
Butterfinger... I really like them, but only occasionally. Like, having a Butterfinger every 3 weeks is better then a Mars bar every week.. but a Butterfinger every week wouldn't be enjoyable.
I also like Baby Ruth.

Oh Henry
Milkyway
Newman's Crispy Milk Chocolate
^You can can get these at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and various yuppie vendors, part of the Paul Newman beneficent food products line that started in the '80s with salad dressing and lemonade.
I love Kit-Kats, too.

When I was in Britain, I used to like to buy a gingerbeer and a Cadbury Double-Decker bar.

I eat them every once in a while but I prefer Snickers
Snickers are tasty, except when they've gone off and taste like mothballs. For some reason Snickers don't seem to have quite the shelflife of other bars. If the Snickers wrapper is dusty, get an Oh Henry!

What does "raid the spa" mean anyway?
The Spar is a supermarket (in the loosest sense of the word).

Mars closed their Slough factory earlier this year. The manufacturing base is now done in Melton Mowbray which isn't too far from where I live. I'm not sure if this is a global thing but the company is called Masterfoods now.

I'm a simple kind of girl, I'll take a regular Hershey's bar, maybe with almonds.
Either that or go all out for a Chunky bar, (for those that don't know them, they have peanuts, raisins and chocolate and are not rectangular but one square piece of chocolate).

I used to like those Nestle white chocolate bars too, but I don't think they sell them in the US anymore.

Sorry to disagree with you on Chunky, bookmistress, but I classified the Chunky as another loser bar--like Clark, Zagnut, and Payday.
