He doesent actually, Takei comes on the Howard Stern show alot, they are friends from what I know. And they are always playing George Takei Soundbytes because he has such a funny voice
That is why Stern is probably going to eat this up, because he is a favorite of the show, and now he comes out of the closet

aw, it's interesting though. who is and isn't. it qualifies as trivia.
the only thing i like about howard stern is how he's always filming his technical crew and talking to them. so vertov, it's very postmodern. unfortunately, except for that one very clever move, he's a blithering idiot. he's not even interesting for shock value anymore, he just interviews strippers over and over. not that there's anything wrong with interviewing strippers, just he's stuck in a total rut.

oh dish, girlfriend! c'mon.
actually i saw this great flick called "the intruder" or "the interloper" or something, from 1961, starring william shatner as a bigoted klansman in the deep south in the early days of integration. he's actually quite good in it, i was surprised. AND it's a roger corman movie! but good!

Or in the 1968 John Wayne pro-Vietnam movie The Green Berets? Sulu played a South Vietnamese officer in that.

I called it!
Stern did a bit where someone called an Arkansawan hillbilly playing clips of George Takei clipped together as if he were conversing with the guy about seeing his WANG...
They didn't make fun of Sulu but brought up the story..then an LA station after Howard with Frosty Heidi and Frank threw in their comments of others who 'may be'...
I guess that's who's interested...
