Subject: Online Classical Music Database?

Does anybody know of a good online database where you can find out what artists recorded a certain classical piece on what CD? Regular google searches don't work well, because you get a lot of irrelevant hits, and it's hard to know how to phrase things to come up with the relevant hits.

Thing this is way too vague, unless you have the name of the google the artist, or the piece. Music
stores have a reference book with the names of artists or piece, that cross reference any CD that they
are on.
