So has anyone gone to see Serenity? If so, what did you think? For that matter, did you see it without having seen the Firefly series first, and if so are you planning on checking out the series now? And you haven't seen it, why not? Go see it! :P

This was released from whedonesque a little while ago as an additional teaser. It's the first 9 minute of Serenity, which serves to establish the introductory plot, introduce two protagonists and the primary antagonist, and give a little background on the Firefly setting. None of it takes place aboard the Firefly ship (Serenity); however, so you'll need to see the rest of the film to meet the bulk of the crew. Enjoy!

I didn't see Firefly so I saw Serenity cold, and there was a lot of unexplained stuff to the movie, but I put 2 & 2 tigether. Anyway, it was entertaining and I only dozed for about 10 minutes; I would see a Serenity II.

Trick now is to check out the series, see the movie again, and see how you're perspective differs while seeing it the second time. I sort of wish I'd had a chance to see the movie cold, but thems the breaks.
