Subject: PEOPLE WE'D LIKE TO SEE MORE OF(or are they has beens?)
Written By: saver on 09/30/05 at 10:45 pm
This sparked my interest as some actors(maybe singers) were listed on another site as has-beens...So if you can list anyone here who you'd LIKE to see, maybe they were just FORGOTTEN STARS and this may generate an interest/movement or good read as to who we'd like to see again on TV, FILM, or IN MUSIC..That is alive:
I enjoy but miss: Lance Kerwin(James At 15/16)...not around since the mid 90's
Noah Hathaway(Atreiu=from Neverending Story)
Cheri O'Teri (Saturday Night Live) looks gone but not forgotten
I grew up watching TV and movies in the 60's and 70's mostly, so that's why this is heavily on the OLDER TV side....
You can also find out MORE about famous actors from the 50's on up at Wherearetheynow.com under categories from kid stars to western or by name!

Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. It'd be neat to see those two back on the big screen again

Don't you remember the brief shots of them in Dickie Roberts child Actor?
At least Feldman had dialogue..I understand Haim is on a little different course these days, as it has been  years since he's been credited for anything significant...ANYONE FIND HIM OR A PHOTO OF HIM AS HE LOOKS IN HIS 30'S??
Maybe he's gone underground like Elvis or Andy Kaufman :o :o :o ÂÂ
Now I guess Scott Baio still pops up directing or producing..what about Phil McKean (Alice), or Brice Beckham(Mr. Belvedere)...maybe there's a cellar they run to if they start to loose their looks???

Will Horneff - Came out about the same time as Josh Hartnett. I think Horneff had more talent and was a more likeable guy, but Hartnett went on a role and Horneff gave up acting for another career field.

Musicians or Actors I would like to see more of:
Whatever happened to R&B singer Montell Jordan: He fell off the earth or something. I did like him back in the day when he scored big with "Lets Ride" in 1998. He was talented. He could be listed as a has-been. The R&B of today is just harder edge than it was 7 years ago. Maybe he was just didn't want to go in that hip-hop direction. If you don;t remember him he scored big in 95 with "This Is How We Do It". Everybody knows that song.
Judith Light: She was on "Who's The Boss" as Angela. She recentely came back on Law & Order SUV. She deserves more of an opportunity in todays television world.
Deborah Cox. Another R&B singer who like Montell Jordan couldn;t keep up with todays harder edged R&B sound. Se hit big in 96 with With" Who Do U Love". In 1998 she scored big again with "Nobody Supposed To Be Here" and in 99 with "We Can;t Be Friends". She has the looks to make it and the voice.
Amber: another mid 90's singer. what happened to her. She fell off the face of the earth as well. She scored big in 96 with "This Is Your Night" and in 1999-2000 with "Sexual". Top 40 radio wouldn;t play her after that. Her hits after that like "Above The Clouds" and "Yes" ranked pretty high on the Dance/Club charts I think though.
Davisd Morse( I think his name was) He was an actor that starred on the Saturday Night show "Hack" on channel 2 a couple years ago. That show was outstanding. Give the guy another chance.
Slum Village: They were rap group but had alot of soul influence in their music. They did a score a mini-hit with "Tainted" in 2002 but thats it. They need more promotion.
Tamia; Yes another singer from the mid 90's. She hit big with "Into You" in 98 and in 2001 with "Stranger In My House". I;m surprised "Officially Missing You" didn;t go into the top 40 a couple of years ago. She also scored big in 97-98 with "Imagination" featuring rapper Jermaine Dupri. She also had another hit with "You Put A Move On My Heart". BTW, she is the wife of NBA player Grant Hill.

Maybe the singers can be traced through the web but see,...we have certain people we'd like to see still out there..kinds like ANN B. DAVIS when we wanted to always see her pop up somewhere..
I kinda remember an early Jodie Foster movie called 'Foxes' and it seemed wiotha ll the cute girls in it, we'd see them grow to other shows/films but then Jodie made it from there, I heard through the grapevine one of the 'star' girls eventually became a nurse..so whether SHE chose to end her career or not enough interest, that could be why some leave..
If the musician/singers felt they always wanted a hit song and they got it, maybe they achieved their dream and started on another road..other times, DRUGS have been involved as in the case of my fave Lance Kerwin(afore mentioned), he then got clean and may show up somewhere, but for now sounds happy preaching.
Do you think they know WE WANT TO SEE THEM AGAIN??
