My music class at school disagree that the Blender top 500 songs of the last 25 years, and the Sony Ericssion top 100 songs of all-time reflect the people's favourite songs, nor are these polls in anyway a definative list of THE best songs of the last 50 years.

We decided to start our own poll, asking members from a range of different forums with different interests. How it will work is you tell us your personal top ten songs of the last 50 years. In devising your top ten, keep in mind that we want to make the definative list of the best songs of the last 50 years.

If you could contribute, it would be really good. We want to drown out companies like Sony and show that the people are the only ones who can compile a list of the people's favourite songs.

To contribute to the poll type in your top ten songs in order (1 is highest, 10 is lowest).
