Nope,despite the few on here who say it will be obsolete...too many people and businesses depend on it...to even bring it up jokingly is kinda dumb...There is not yet anything BETTER to replace it....at least that I know of....

For the Internet, 20 years ago, it was available for a selected few.

The Internet has prove itself useful for it has clear shelf space at home, reference books are no longer needed.

The internet is kinda like TV.. I can't see it being replaced.. I can see the two merging.. either way, computers are just become more and more integral in our lives... Eventually, we'll all have continuous internet access at an insane high speed... probably won't even need a PC for it.. just some sort of screen... the internet is gonna keep growing.. it's not dying any time soon.

I have met many people like me,who have disabilities,on the Internet. I get a LOT of support from those people.
And I could NEVER imagine life without NASCAR.com...Bearshare....or even this Decades board.
