Several years back, I called my dad for his birthday. He told me that he had the Beatle's song in his head. I asked him, "You say it's your birthday"? He said, "No, 'When I'm 64'". (Yes, it was his 64th birthday). I just wanted to share that. ;D
Anyway, Happy Birthday Paul. (I'm sure he will see this. ;) )

Oh geez, thank gosh - when I ran across the title of this thread, I was like What? How could I have MISSED that? ;) Schwoo, glad I've got another year!!
I grew up listening to the latter-era Beatles and always liked that song. So I always had it in my mind about when he really would turn 64, and he'd have to say or do something to announce he'd finally made it to that age.
I know that song is probably kind of a tongue in cheek humorous piece, but still he seems to paint himself at 64 as being "over the hill", LOL. I wonder what Paul in 1967 thought he'd be like in 2006, compared to how it (almost) is. ;D

In honor of his birthday a local radio station did this Paul McCartney/Beatles bio and played a bunch of Beatles music and Pauls solo/Wings music. It was pretty cool. If I hadn't been traveling to my dad's house today and driving in the car I would have never heard it or even known it was on!

John Winston Lennon was born in Liverpool on October 9, 1940, so he would have been 64 last year.
