Subject: I Predict Jackson Will Fly/Walk

Written By: RockandRollFan on 06/13/05 at 3:03 pm

With half an hour to go before the verdict is read, I believe this slime will be found not guilty. It's terrible but this shall be another OJ. If by some chance he is convicted, I'm SURE we'll have to be subjected to all the Whacko fans crying "Foul" and that idiot Jesse Jackson calling it unfair ::)

How is this 'another OJ'?  Was Robert Blake 'another OJ'?  If Phil Spector gets off, will that be 'another OJ'?

If the jury has decided on the verdict, in my opinion he will be free from the main charges, but will still be guilty of supply alcohol to the children and having the pornographic magazine.

I deem them all "OJ" for the simple fact that I believe OJ got away with a crime. It's what many people label a verdict that frees a guilty person. I hope Spector fries, am sickened by the Robert Blake case and have given up that the United States cannot grab that slime producer Roman Polanski for raping a child and escaping to France ::)

Probably even more.  Scandal is always good for sales.  I thought they would get him on the lesser
charge of serving alcohol to a minor.  The defense must have done an outstanding job.

I'm sorry it didn't go as you would like Mark. But the sad truth is 1) the prosecution was weak and 2)it was a botched up frame job from the plaintiff's mother, who only cared for the bottom line (Jacko's money). I still think he's a perv, but at least in this case he deserved the benefit of a doubt. The real losers are the young Jacko fans whom might have been "touched" by The Gloved One himself. We'll never really :( know what actually goes on in Neverland Ranch.

Wow. I must be the only one hear whose relieved that this child molestation sh!t (pardon my french) is over with    ???.

Let me first start by saying that I like Michael's music but I never cared much for the person. I believe that while he began super young in the music industry, his mind was robbed in the suggested case of arrested development. The poor guy, how can anyone not feel sorry for him? It's not like any of us have to deal with this child molestation allegations!

Does anyone remember the Martin Bashir interview in February 2003? Of course, like-minded individuals will agree that it isn't correct to allow prepubescent boys into bed with you but honestly, let's give MJ the benefit of a doubt, we all know that he isn't right in the head (ie-emotionally/mentally disturbed).  :o

What he should do know is sell the Neverland Ranch (who would want to stay there w/ terrible memories of being accused?!) & invest in some big-time therapy sessions to heal himself.

Now, Thriller or Invincible rather will probably re-enter the Billboard charts, I only own 3 of his records (Off the Wall, Thriller, & I stopped at Bad!) & he will most likely shun his naysayers by recording his last album & having it become a #1 hit (which will most likely happen!) But this just goes to show you that reputation fades (as Michael's has been permanently damaged) & no matter what, he will always have this accusation hanging over his head. (because face it: NONE of us except MJ know what happened in his room @ Neverland)

I believe it was a fair trial. 'Nuff said.

That's what it all comes down to, the prosecution being so sure of itself and not doing all it takes on
a case like this. Llook at the family they decide to go ahead with.  They were so obviously out for a payoff, and they thought this trial would assure them a bigger take. Maybe MJ will retire to Neverland.
Anyone who allows their child to be left in his company should be the ones who are prosecuted.  He may begin to feel himself invincible and pull all the stops, or maybe he is scared to do anything more, either way I wouldn't want to be the one to test those waters.

I'm not surprised that Michael was aquitted.I mean,Janet Arviso and her son Gavin swore that Michael wasn't the type of person who would molest a child. Then they turn around and say he did.maybe Michael jackson really does call wine "Jesus juice',but it sounds a little fanciful to me.Also,it seemed Janet Arviso kept coming up with more far-fetched stories about what went on.it just seems more people would have known about it,sooner,if it all happened.Janet didn't come across to the jurors as being likeable--they all hated her, apparently, and she seems to have a history of filing siuts.can anyone say "Anna Ayala"?I think if the prosecution investigated further, they would have easily found out what a jerk janet Arviso is.

I do think Michael is pretty weird, but that isn't a crime. It may be possible for anyone to be a pedophile, but the Arvisos were not the people tp prove it.I kind of think Gavin will publicly retract those statements when he's legal age and free from mommy's pursestrings--or when she gets busted for fraud and no longer controls him.

Actually the Beatles recieved no money. MJ got the songs through an auction that was attended by Yoko, who was supposed to make sure they were able to keep them. I think it's a shame that after all those wonderful songs were written, they are now being used to make a molester more money. I agree with you that it shopuld've been handled differently. Paul was friends with Jacko in the 80's but after  he got the rights he refused contact from Paul. All McCartney was trying to do was to make an offer for them. It's sad all the way around though :-\\

It was a bad decision...they made a mistake and they're human. MJ on the other hand has no reason to shut out Paul McCartney. Jackson is the only crock in the whole thing. He made millions with someone else's music and though it may be a good businees pratice, it is still cold, calculated and just plain mean.
