What is crazy frog?? anybody have a link to a sound bite of this thing? Curiosity is killing me!

I'm sure if you go to the Jamster website, they'll have it there. They had the Swedish guy who does the voices on breakfast TV the other day in the UK, they held a phone vote as to whether the frog was cool or annoying; 70% of those who voted said it was annoying, so he had to eat some gruesome English "delicacy" for breakfast (might have been black pudding, can't remember) as punishment. Later, on another show, they took him out in public to answer for his 'crimes against humanity'- several memebers of the public had to be restrained from attacking him, when they learnt what he was responsible for...

Wow, I missed that! The Swedish guy who does the voice was interviewed on the radio yesterday (Radio 1), and when he was asked if he was pleased with his number one, all he said was "yes, it is good". I'll tell you something they would NOT have been able to restrain me if he'd came walking round my street...  >:(

Joe Dolce's 'Shaddup You Face' is a musical masterpiece in G Minor compared to the Crazy Frog. Good number ones include Bohemian Rhapsody for instance, whilst I could be sitting here all night listing all the terrible number ones (anyone remember the macarena? number one for 16 weeks in the US!). We brits have had some god awful number ones in our time - but THIS?! This is going a bit too far...

Nobody with any sort of sense of decency would dance to the macarena (whilst sober). The macarena is much like Abba's Waterloo, you love it when you're p*ssed, but when you'r sober, you hate it!  :) :D

Ha, is that the old Baby D (Baby Ford? can't remember) number? I think you've hit on something there! (dodges hail of bottles from music lovers worldwide). I just hope that blooming Tweety bird thing doesn't come out as a single, though sadly I think it may well be the next "ringtone number 1", as it has a similar "Jamster club" attached to it & is also being heavily promoted currently.(OMG, cut that with "The Birdie Song" and you'd have a fearsome sonic weapon!)

Shame about Coldplay, though...must try harder to impress the demographic that buys Singles, although I'd imagine their release of Singles is more to showcase their album sales, where most real music lovers spend their dosh...

I don't think Coldplay will have any problems getting to number one in the album charts, it's just a shame they couldn't have had a number one single to accompany it.

And ssssh! Don't go giving Jamster any ideas. They'll no doubt think of some fresh annoyances when their chair person gets back from Nursery

Think more like Brit classics such as "the Chicken Song", "Agadoo" (you could dance to that too, but...), "The Birdie Song" etc, and you might be nearly there... ::)

Overexposed is an understatement. The adverts come on twice in every break on some channels, the song is continuously played and EVERYONE has the f*kin' ringtone! Gaaaaaaa! The Crazy Frog has been over-over-over-over-OVERexposed to overexposure
