Not too sure about rap music, but slang is everywhere where i come from. If someone from America came over to the North East of England, chances are they wouldn't have a clue what we were talking about!!! ;D

My kid says the announcements at her high school start this way every morning, I guess by the student body president. He says, " Hol - lin atcha boi, Moment." His last name is Moment, sometimes he says, "Hol-lin atcha girl, Moment."

"It's all good" (started in 1993 by MC Hammer-most think Notorious BIG and P Diddy
started that phrase)
"bunk"(stupid)
"beef" (problems)
"mad" (a self defined adjective, i.e. mad hot)
"twitterpated" (oversexed or horny......?......... ;D)
"sick" (cool)
