By Yngwie Malmsteen
HOLLYWOOD, CA - The American Film Institute (AFI) has revamped its list of the 100 Greatest Movies of All Time, after changing their minds since their last 100 Greatest Movies list in 1998. Here are the Top Ten Movies of All TIme, acording to AFI:
10. Dumb and Dumber
"The Citizen Kane of its time." -- Charlton Heston, actor
9. Ghostbusters II (1989)
"Who they gonna call at the Oscars?" -- Arsenio Hall, talk-show host, in 1990
8. The Jerky Boys (1995)
"An all time classic." -- Leonard Maltin, film critic
7. Fridat the 13th (1980)
"Why did this film have to get snubbed by the Academy? It's an injustice." -- Charlton Heston
6. Friday the 13th, Part 2 (1981)
"The Godfather, Part II of the horror genre." -- The late Sir Lawerence Olivier
5. Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)
"The Best Halloween since the original." -- The late Donald Pleasence in 1983
4. Ernest Goes to Jail (1990)
"The. Greatest. Movie. Ever. Made." -- William Shatner, actor & quasi-singer
3. Bio-Dome (1996)
"Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin play the most realistic mentally-handicapped people in film since Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump. Two guys, who pretty much fart throughout the entire movie, get locked in a Bio-Dome, hence the name of this poetic motion picture. It's a must see!" -- Eddie Van Halen, rock guitarist
2. Crossroads (2002)
"Why did the Academy snub this classic movie? Britney Spears should have won Best Actress over Nicole Kidman's dreadful performance in The Hours. This film is pure genius, and this should have been Dan Aykroyd's Oscar movie." -- Roger Ebert, film critic
1. Kazaam! (1996)
"Academy Award Winner Shaquille O'Neal gives his most dramatic performance in years as a rapping genie who is discovered by a teenage boy named Max (Played by Francis Capra). Shaq won eight Academy Awards in 1997, including: Best Actor, Best Original Song, Best Original Score, Best Visual Effects, and Best Picture." -- Leonard Maltin, movie critic
The four-hour special will air on MTV in July.

I think Dumb and Dumber has every right to be included in the real AFI 100 Greatest Movies of All Time. I know of many 'great' movies which do not deserve to be on the list.
