No, I'm not one of the site admins. Just wondering how you found out about this site? I don't mean whether you heard about it from a friend, e-mail.etc but actually how you found out about it (i know it sounds incredibly boring).

One day, feeling a little bored, I did a google search for 'best Beatle song' hoping there would be a forum thread on the subject. And it turned out there was - on the00scom. And atm its the forum of the month. I tend to discover a forum, post obsessively for a few weeks or months (although on this one I was definately restrained) either get kicked out for some reason or another or get bored of it and leave...never to return.

i was looking into some 80s trivia, i google searched and i came upon this site in august of '03.

was looking for some info on an 80s song and found this site, also found out the name of the song that i was looking for.

I was checkin' AmIRight, and I found this. Everyone told me to register. Eventually, I left the shell of AmIRight and never returned. I'm quite happy here.

I was trying to figure out the name of a bag we carried in the 80s and did a search on 80s styles and found this site.  This was in January of this year.  This is the first and only messageboard that I've been in.

I was searching about the '90s and inthe90s came up and I found inthe00s from there.

I found it on google too.. I was searching for 80's designer jeans, which I collect.

just like everyone else...I was doing some retro searches...I stumbled upon this site...and I couldn't be happier....it is just what I needed!!!

I was read in some newspaper about a misheard lyrics site called kissthisguy.com and checked it out.  I used to hang around the message boards there for a while and Chucky G used to post there as well.  He mentioned his site AmIRight in a few posts and I came here when I got fed up with kissthisguy always having the same lyrics requests being posted over and over

I was recommended this site by a good friend of mine in May last year, but never got round to proper posting till December.

Before I answer this question, I would like to say that I responded to a very similar thread in the Playful Penguin Place.

Now, here is my answer (again):

I found out about this messageboard through Amiright.com, which I in turn found through Google in April of 2000 when I was searching for some lyrics. One of the links was to a "misheard lyrics" site, which I found very funny, so I kept going back there every week. It wasn't until 2002 when I found the messageboard (the old one), but I didn't do any posting until 2003.

I browsed around for a messageboard and here I am since November 2001. 3 1/2 years. :)

It was actually a few years ago... wasn't until recently I found the board though. I actually found the board by accident... by typing inthe00s.com instead of inthe90s.com - glad I did.

I don't really remember how I stumbled upon it. I think I might have found it accidentally in a search about music, but I'm not really sure.

I saw the site in the Parade Sunday insert way back in early 2002....joined right away :)

I was google ing for Atari Lynxx hand held and ran into this site. Pretty glad I did, theres alot to talk about, later...

I've known about inthe80s.com since 2000-2001, checked back 2002-03, and found inthe00s from there.  I posted a couple things on inthe80s 2 years or so ago and have read this board for a year now but hadn't posted until January.
