For one thing, of course it's MJ!  No question!  As for incurable, well, techically MJ is still entitled to redemption but that will never happen.  I pick MJ.

When I said 'lame' I meant their early music. They didn't do anything creative in their first years as a group. It wasn't until the end of their time that they started being brilliant, and to me that's a shame. If they started being brilliant at the start of their careers, they could've ended up even better off in the end.

Both make me equally sick.

I believe Jacko is still curable, but not from the "friends" and "family" he associates with. As long as his siblings deny there is anything wrong with him, and his entourage supports him in spite of his alleged crimes, he is in a Catch 22. Dad and Mum didn't help matters by claiming he was raised right, when it is known they were awful parents who only thought about the bottom line: money. Madonna, on the other hand, was a spoiled brat. She was raised as a Catholic and rebelled every time she was told right.

He has made some mistakes, but everyone makes mistakes. Give Michael a chance. Please! He said in the Geraldo Rivera interview that he has changed. He has woken up to himself since the allegations have come forward. He is acting more like an adult. He has realised that he's 46 now, and he has his own children, it's time to grow up. I've seen a big change in the way he looks, the way he acts, the way he talks. He has done some growing up. He's even getting involved in an intimate, adult, heterosexual relationship that is real. He's a completely different man. He will be vindicated, he will come back, he will make great music, he will be the King of Pop (again), you guys just have to give him a chance. He has changed, he is different. Please, just give him a chance.

I don't hate Michael Jackson. I wouldn't hang out with him, and if he is guilty of molestation I want him to spend at least a couple decades in the slammer, but I still respect his as a person.  And his early music rocks.  I like Prince better though  :D

The district attorney's son is a member of the Aryan Nations (a white supremacy).
The districe attornet also fought hard to make sure there was no African American people on the jury. He won his battle. The jury is made up of 10 white people, a hispanic and an asian. No African Americans what so ever!
Tom Sneddon is only on this case because he hates African American people. I wouldn't be surprised if furing this trial, Tom Sneddon tries to place child molestation, or some other ridiculous allegation on other members of the Jackson family as well! I doubt very much that this case would've happened, if Tom Sneddon's family was not involved in the Aryan Nation.

If 3 of the 7 charges were obviously made up (otherwise, why has Sneddon not included them now?) then it leaves very little to say about the 4 that Sneddon is still persuing in this trial.

You would think that if he had even half a brain, he would go to great lengths to avoid even the slightest hint of impropriety. The guy's got money out the wazoo, he has this huge sprawling ranch, why not have his guests stay in the guesthouses?

I have never heard of Jim Carrey or Adam Sandler ever having any "false accusations" of sexual abuse leveled against them. Look, again maybe you're right. I won't rule out the possibility that he is innocent of all of these charges and I'll be the first to agree that there are scumbags out there who think of our legal system as a lottery. Some people will do awful things just to make a quick buck. I also know how much of a hardon the media has for high-profile celebrity trials.      Not many people today would even admit to being a Michael Jackson fan, let alone be such an ardent defender of him. I may not agree with you, but I do have to give you credit for having the guts to stick to your guns and stand up for someone you believe in, especially in the face of such overwhelming public opposition.  As I said before, Michael Jackson has made a series of poor decisions concerning his public image, and it's possible that's all he's guilty of. But he needs to start being more aware of his actions and how they can be twisted against him. Even if he is cleared of these charges against him he will face a difficult if not impossible battle to win back the public's good graces. If he really wants to resurrect his career (and there's no denying he has the sheer talent to make a successful comeback) I think he needs to grow up a little and be more self-confident and open with the public. His reclusiveness and his obsession with secrecy and privacy (not to mention the strange-looking disguises he and his children wear) do nothing but add to the public perception that he is a "freak."  I understand that he is an extremely shy person and that he had a rough childhood and all that, but I think that if he could somehow get past that and come out of his shell it would do wonders for his career (if he winds up being vindicated in court, that is).

     Not many people today would even admit to being a Michael Jackson fan, let alone be such an ardent defender of him. I may not agree with you, but I do have to give you credit for having the guts to stick to your guns and stand up for someone you believe in, especially in the face of such overwhelming public opposition.  As I said before, Michael Jackson has made a series of poor decisions concerning his public image, and it's possible that's all he's guilty of. But he needs to start being more aware of his actions and how they can be twisted against him. Even if he is cleared of these charges against him he will face a difficult if not impossible battle to win back the public's good graces. If he really wants to resurrect his career (and there's no denying he has the sheer talent to make a successful comeback) I think he needs to grow up a little and be more self-confident and open with the public. If he IS guilty of molestation I say put him in a maximum security prison for 20 years to life, no less than that, unless he is proven to be insane.(which in my mind he is, along with the majority of criminals. IMO though only psychosis and not being a sociopath can get you of the hook justly).  Personally I think he's done some weird shhh but I think he's virtually mindless so he's not completely responsible for his actions.
But who am I to judge?  I've barely even been to southern California.

And Robbo, although I don't agree with you, you deserve props for sticking up for the guy and not turning back.  Like another poster said, that takes guts.  8)
