I think rap music will start to die down and will will go back to a Pop/Rock like 5-6 years ago.

My bet is it'll suck until the mid-to-end of 2005, when rap will die. I hope Modest Mouse gets more credit, maybe another radio hit? :)

Pop punk and rock stays while hip hop slows down... and teen pop will fade for another 5 years :D

most likely the same.rap,hip hop,new rock,heavy metal as oldies will begin to fade slowly.

Who knows what it will be like, hope it will be an era of well writen music, or mabey just something I can relate to. Although there are good artists now, so far the 00s dont have a type of music that I really enjoy ::)

Most of the time I listen to indie music from sites like purevolume.com. I think most mainstream music sucks!

Didn't happen lol. Rap is probably on a very gradual decline though.

I predict that Mariah Carey will come back in the summer with some hits. I also predict that Kanye West will come out with another album.
