Who would you invite?
here's my list:
Chuck Jones,my fave classic 'toons' creator
Ray Dolby,one of 'the six' who solved immense technical problems to create the first practical VIDEOTAPE RECORDER,also the creator of the noise-reduction technique used on many of your fave albums(now CD's)
Seymour Cray...created the Cray-1 supercomputer...
Steve 'Woz' Wozniak...one of the brains behind APPLE computers....
the late Dale Eanhardt...it's ironic that Sr. mistrusted computers,yet Dale Jr has four PC's!
Les Paul...inventor of the Gibson electric guitar that bears his name...
John Force...winner of several NHRA Funny Car championships
William Allen...oversaw,as head of Boeing,the creation of the 'ocean liner of the skies'-the 747
Juan Trippe...head of Pan Am World Airways during that time,who CONVINCED Allen and Boeing to launch the 747 project..to both..THANX FOR CREATING MY FAVE AIRLINER!!
Robert Moog,creator of the musical instrument that bears his name

Please don't think I'm nuts for saying this, BUT:
With a reasonable amount of security, I would invite 20 famous serial killers just to see what was on their minds. I just want to know first hand what in the world was goin on with them that made them do the things that they did.
Needless to say, Jeffrey Dahmer WILL NOT be invited to my dinner party!

I dunno, musicians are actually very boring people to be around, so I don't think Lennon or Morrison would be as great as you would think...Anyway
