Why I wonder how nannies do it is because I have baby-sat before...when the kids have disabilities that make them either hyperactive or unable to do for themselves it's hard. But those kids I baby-sat also blessed me with their love...and their courage. They also made me laugh sometimes..which is a precious gift. I did the baby-siiting for a former foster mom of mine.

I love ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT... I would have to say its my fav right now but... i love CSI< SIMPSONS< FAMILY GUY< AND LOST TOO

I remember Boston Common.  I was sad when they cancelled that, but now that I love Yes, Dear, I'm sort of glad Boston Common got cancelled  ;D

I love that show, and catch it any time I can.

Personally, I think most "Network" shows are pure coprolite.  Reality TV (Celebrity Bloopers & Vomit), sit-coms with tons of sex (Sex With the Entire City), crime soaps (CSI: Boise), and the list goes on ad nauseum.

Unless something changes big-time, I will stick with History Channel and Discovery.

I would have to say Lost is one of them.

Antiques Roadshow is one of my favourite shows. They have British, American, and Canadian versions, all of which are fun and interesting to watch; my favourite is the British version, however, because it showcases a lot of very old stuff from all over Europe.

I sometimes watch Charlie Rose late at night, because I think it's one of the few intelligent and insightful political interview shows on TV. I also watch MuchMoreRetro at around 1 am if I'm still up -- it's when MuchMoreMusic plays old music videos from the '80s and '90s for about an hour, some of which are relatively obscure.

My favourite fictional TV show is probably Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but that's not exactly current anymore. I'm sure there are good shows out there, but I don't watch enough TV to get into many of them.

Some of my tastes have changed in the last few months, yet I still like the shows I originally mentioned, but now I watch a lot of these:

It almost gets to the point that I only watch shows when they go into reruns because atleast then I know when they are on, and that they aren't going anywhere

Teenage Cics - This is an Irish show similar to The Wonder Years, except it's set in the 80's and it's in Irish Gaelic (subtitled in English). The daily lives of youth as they spend their summer in Irish college learning about life and love.... so geeky, with an excellent 80's soundtrack to top it all off. I watch it on TG4 Webtv (www.tg4.ie).

I like most of the HBO series as well, especially Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I watched the pilot episode of Ugly Betty, and it was good. It was very charming. :) I thought I'd watch it each week, but, unfortunately, I just don't have what it takes to watch TV on a scheduled basis. Thursday comes around and either I have something else to do or I'm not in the mood to watch TV.

I know the girl (Char) on this week's show - we went to uni and lived together in our final year. She was also on the last series of Shipwrecked.


I'm really not into watching series TV......but ....24 is the only show I will not miss.

I've been watching 'Ashes To Ashes' which I love because of the 80s slant - even though it's a bit OTT, it's fun to watch. Absolutely loving 'The West Wing' which I just bought on DVD - onto Season 3 now.

SAVING GRACE cuz Season Three started up on Tuesday1  :)

I even yell at the TV when I know the answer...especially on Jeopardy.

Me too. In fact, I was doing that this evening when they had a category about Michael Jackson, and I knew the answer to the $800 and $1000 questions. (But none of the contestants did! One of those two ?'s asked to name Michael's duet partner on "Say Say Say"...who was, of course, Paul McCartney.) Also, the "returning champion" had $5,000 at one point during the Double Jeopardy round, but he went downhill from there, never answering another question properly. They even unfairly penalized him for accidentally saying "A Midsummer's Night Dream" when I'm sure he meant to say the answer correctly ("A Midsummer Night's Dream"). It was the first time I ever saw a returning champion contestant finish with a nonpositive score (and hence be inelligible for Final Jeopardy).

Now in 2009, one of my favorite current tv shows is "Sonny With A Chance", another sitcom on the Disney Channel. Another one is "What Not To Wear" on TLC.

I also like "Phineas & Ferb" and "Suite Life On Deck", both of which are on Disney Channel. I know they're geared towards a somewhat younger audience, but I find them enjoyable too, even at 29.
