We had this topic a long time ago and I thought I'd bring it back with a news story I read:
BAT OUTTA HELL:
Cory Henson, 16, was called out of class while police officers did a weapons search in his car. A junior-varsity baseball player at Diamond Hill Jarvis High School in Fort Worth, TX, Henson has never been in trouble before. The ''weapon''? An 8-inch wooden bat broken off one of his baseball trophies. As reported by The Star Telegraph, the teenager was suspended, with the possibility of a year-long expulsion. Ironically, the full sized aluminum bat in the trunk of his car was ignored. Sgt. Daniel Garcia of the Fort Worth police department explained ''The smaller bat could be constituted as an illegal club, because it was in the driver access area and the size wouldn't be a problem. If the student played baseball at the school, then common sense would prevail.'' Obviously not.

On the other hand, up here in Massachusetts we had a 4-year old knife attacker yesterday. Yesterday's AP isn't on my homepage, and I don't want to go look up the link. Anyway, in the little town of Whitman a 10-year old boy was playing a friendly game of Wiffle ball with a 4-year old boy. The older kid struck the littler kid with the Wiffle bat by accident. Instead of doing what most 4-year olds would have--cry, the little boy ran back to his house, got a large butcher knife from the kitchen, and waylaid the bigger boy with it. The 10-year old suffered serious wounds to his back and arm before he escaped. He was treated and released from a local hospital.

Baltimore is notorious for kids killing kids. It's gotten so bad now, that elementary students are being patted down in the inner city schools. I can't even go to to B-more anymore, cuz it makes me so sick to see these LITTLE thug kids running amuck on the streets. Just a few weeks ago, they caught a 9 y.o. boy with a loaded handgun and a bag of weed in his backpack!!! How do they get this crap?!? >:(

A child was set alight by other children in a secret den in England. I forgotten whereabouts though.
Looking back, kids worrying about having their heads flushed down toilets seems to be the least of their problems.

Getting off the subject of kids stabbing kids here is a story written by Rush Limbaugh himself:
I've long catalogued for you the ridiculous rules promulgated by the socialist busybodies who run the European Union (EU) bureaucracy in Brussels. Now its official the EU has gone to the dogs. As reported by the Sun, new regulations handed down by the EU nannies have deemed bones to be a ''waster by-product.'' So butchers now must incinerate bones and fat- at their own expense instead of giving them to people to give to their dogs. British butchers are howling ''It's going to cost at least 2,000 pounds a year to dispose of fat and bones,'' says Aled Morgan from Wales. Dog-owner Martin Swanson dismissing the EU directive as ''barmy,'' explains ''My dog Arnie loves bones, they're good for him. If he could understand what's going on he wouldn't be happy.'' Obviously, Arnie has more common sense than the libs running the EU.

You wait...I can see a 'directive' coming that says that, in the interests of 'harmonisation' all male 'todgers' within the EU area must be of the same size...!!
If ever there was a concept that was completely out of touch with planet Earth, it's the EU...

According to the London Telegraph, the rules ban ''lone working,'' and discourage working in ''unfavorable weather conditions,'' demand warning signs to point out danger of of snow and rain and only allow ropes when scaffolding or platforms can't be used. All this leaves the outdoor industry between a rock and a hard place. Tim Blakemore,of the Dukeshouse wood outdoors Education Center in Hexham, England, asks: ''Do they really expect a sign up in a snow field that is slippery? Am I suppose to erect scaffolding up cliff faces and stairs next to mountains?'' Apparently so. Mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington, chairman of the Outward Bound organization's rick management commitee, notes: ''The whole part of the outdoor industry is that there is an element of risk. It is all about learning how to manage that. Without that we all may as well pack up. It is utterly stupid.'' Sir Chris, you are trying to use logic to respond to liberals. Pack up.

I don't know much about liberals, GWBush2004, but I know that anyone that tries to control the uncontrollable are egotistical imbeciles in my opinion.

My little brother, while no dummy, is a lazy SOB and is going to summer school right now. Just today I went to pick him up from there. As I was leaving, I noticed that the building -- a junior high school -- had metal detectors.
I live in Virginia Beach. We have something like the 11th lowest crime rate in the country. I believe that the world is mostly a good place, but Jesus Christ in heaven, man.
