Internet Service Provider poll

I've never used either of them.  Ever since I've been "wired", I've used local providers and have never had any trouble with them for the most part.  Then again, when I first started going online, none of the major providers had local numbers for me to call as we lived in BFE.

I've never used one of the major ones.  I started with a local provider several years ago,a dn ahve been satisfied with them since.  No problems at all, and national numbers, and a good price.

I've tried others and i always come back to AOL.

We recently switched to Road Runner and there's no way in H*LL I'd ever go back to dial-up. I'd yank my freakin' hair out waiting on stuff to download.

I use a local one.  I've tried the other nationally known ones, but they weren't any better than my local provider and the local one is free.

I use Juno and love it.  It is inexpensive and fast...they have a dial up connection called speed band which is a lot quicker than normal dial up and it is only $14.95 a month.

I like AOL's chat rooms,especially the NASCAR chats and the music chats. I've talked to lots of NASCAR fans thru AOL. Plus AOL has the Google search engine.

I used to use MSN, which was okay. We had it for a cheap price, but there was nothing spectacular about it. Then my city got DSL through SBC Yahoo and I got that. It's great! They're very reasonable and I was able to get WiFi for a fairly cheap price through them. :)

Everyone who thinks aol is so great should really go to the link in my last post...it's VERY educational, suprisingly honest....save yourselves, your computers will be grateful you did ;)

and I use a local internet service... :)
But I like Earthlink as well.

I'm not too crazy about it.One time,I was doing something and I lost my connection by AOL IM. >:(

I live in an area with very few NASCAR fans to actually talk to,face to face, so AOL,NASCAR.com,and SpeedChannel are my lifelines for keeping up with my fave pastime! And on AOL you can criticize drivers you dislike unlike NASCAR.com where that can get you booted off!

Tony, I actually started with aol way back in 1997. I can sympathize with you because there was a games area that I used to go on and we were able to play against other members..that was fun! But I soon found aol to be what they're famous for....SUCKING! I wish you could find a different place for the NASCAR chat but hey, I put up with aol for about a year until I found another place to play trivia games :)

That's true. aol seems to think thier customers are morons and will believe everything must come from aol...that's just another of the many resons I hate aol :P

Road Runner High Speed is the best.....Beep  Beep! ;D

It was ME!  All you need to do is go to the link I provided and right click on any logo you like...then go to properties....highlight the address, then copy/paste it to the message box....after selecting "Insert Image"  ;)

I go through a company called iinet they are just great.

It worked for me to get ON the internet way back in '97...it didn't take long at all before I realized they were a corporate monster that plants crap on your hard drive....and thier service sucks too :P

I have Comcast cable high-speed connection.  None too cheap, but worth it.

Howard, I'm referring to Steve Case, aol's prez....and aol as a whole entity. They mislead thier customers, thier browser sucks...and they never want to let you go :-\\
