Other: Half-and-half...
I've listened to an entire show of this guy in full-flight, and it's difficult to keep up...
On the plus side - he did manage to make our very own Chris Evans look a complete fool (probably not difficult!) when he appeared on Evans' show some while back...

I listen to Howard Stern show in the morning sometimes when I want to know what is going on. What is happening to him
is unfair. Howard can get in trouble for something but people like Vince can do what he pleases and not get in trouble.
I mean Howard has a write to voice his opinion he has a right to be heard.

I've been listening to him for a numbers of years now. In fact, I even met Beetlejuice at Yankee Stadium in June 2001. He was drunk. Too funny. ;D I tune in to get a good laugh that's about it.

I vote:
Other: He's rude, crude, but its his show. If you don't like it, turn the channel.
Whether you love him or hate him, he's a genius. Not in an Einstein sort of way, but in a way that he has figured out a way to not only have his own show and get paid, but whenever someone gets offended by him, it creates millions of $$$ worth of free publicity for him as well.

I don't hate him, I dislike him intensely. And I don't even listen to morning shock jocks anymore, unless you count sports radio as shock jocks. :-\\

Oh that's a good thing, Paul. Chris Evans is a total imbecile - I hated that kind of crowd participation thing he used on the Big Breakfast and radio when he made everybody look stupid all the time to satisfy is ego. Now we have Chris Moyles doing a very similar thing - but worse, if that's possible.

I love him. It's too bad they dropped him from CHOM up here in Montreal. We used to love listening to him in the morning at work. Unfortunately he made some crass remarks regarding the french and the station cancelled him.

I "hate" Stern, but as we First Amendment guardians always say, I hate what he says, but I defend his right to say it. I wish there wasn't such a market for his potty-mouth. However, the "culture warriors" who want to censor him scare me more than Stern's popularity.
I do think Stern has a point about Oprah. She's been talking Sex in the afternoon for fifteen years. Some of her discussions are quite explicity, eve salty. They showed a clip of a guest talking about today's teenage sex rituals. Oprah's sex talk falls under the guise of "education" and "awareness." Yeah, right. The Oprah demographic consumes a bigger share of pornography than anyone wants to admit. They wouldn't be lost l'il lambs if the big "O" wasn't there to to give them the low-down.
Anyway, I don't care if they watch Oprah for education or prurient interests. I don't want to see either Stern or Oprah censored.

It's basically a comedy show, a bit lewd, but for me entertaining. I'm no die hard fan, but usually enjoy the show.

Agreed. The guy's been on the air for 30 years, so he's doing something right.

I chose other. I don't hate him. But I do think the guy is a bit moronic. Most of his guests are pure idiots. Gee, lets have a farting competition. Let's bring on guests who will do anything to be on radio or t.v. No wonder his wife left him.

I am getting a little tired of him bitching about the FCC, and Clear Channel, and George W. Bush. That's pretty much all the talks about these days, which is unfortunate, because he's an otherwise funny guy. I'm getting to the point where I'm almost ready to stop listening.

Howard Stern is a DISGUSTING PIG who,IN MY OPINION,treats women like HIS PERSONAL SEX TOYS! I just wish I could go to his studio and SLAP him silly in front of all his fans!

Honestly, I don't hate him, but his act has gotten incredibly boring, IMO. I haven't heard him lately since his radio show isn't on in my city, but what I've seen on E! seems like the same old, same old. It's just not funny to me anymore.

I used to listen to him in the mid to late 90's. I just grew out of it or something. My Dad is a big Howard Stern fan so he's been listening to Stern for years. My thing is why should Stern be dealing with this stuff? Just because of Janet Jackson. Stern has been doing the stuff for years(its not like what he is doing on his show is anything new.) If you don't like the guy change the station. Nobody is putting a gun to your head and telling you to listen to Howard Stern.

Well, maybe so, but these women that he treats like his "personal sex toys" know exactly what he's like, and still decide to go into his studio. I mean if you had a woman come in and say "I'd do ANYTHING for breast implants", well I guess he's going to see how far she'll go. So all the blame can not be placed on Stern. If women weren't willing to go to his studio to be "evaluated for Playboy" or do anything for implants or agree to be seen naked if someone loses a game, then there really wouldn't be a show. You know what I mean?
Anyway, I voted "Other", I don't love him but I don't hate him. I do watch his show on "E" from time to time, and sometimes it can be pretty funny.

Does anyone here listen to the "Bob and Tom"radio show? The show airs here in Absecon NJ on 103.7 The SHARK(the coolest rock music station in my area IMO!) One time they had Jeff Foxworthy as a guest on the show, and he made a VERY TRUE comment about how longtime NASCAR fans boo Jeff Gordon!

I'm going to have to go with "I wonder what we should have for dinner tonight".
In general, I don't like talk radio. Howard Stern, I know very little about the guy. Personally I enjoyed the movie "Private Parts", and I think it did make me see him in a different light. Before that, only having heard OF him, I probably would've said I disliked him. Sexist, gross, all that. The only thing that put me off a little afterwards was that when discussing the movie, he said that he'd wanted everyone to see that he "..loved his wife..", like that was his major point there. But, last I heard, he was divorcing her.  :-\\ So now what does that leave me with?ÂÂ
