LOS ANGELES, CA - Singer Britney Spears is taking a break from her Onyx Hotel Tour in order to record tracks for her upcoming remake of Pink Floyd's 1979 masterpiece, The Wall. Britney will play guitar on most of the tracks and plans to play the piano on "Comfortably Numb."
"When I was little," says the 22-year-old Spears, "I idolized Pink Floyd. I bought a Gibson electric guitar, Marshall amp, and effects after one listen to the guitar solo outro on 'Comfortably Numb.' I cried for days."
Spears has also confirmed that when her tour wraps, she will co-star with Anthony Hopkins, Ashton Kutcher, 50 Cent, and Mandy Moore in a remake of the 1985 classic, The Breakfast Club.
