I keep seeing the adverts for Hidden Valley Ranch and they say that it is what ranch is supposed to taste like, but what is ranch supposed to taste like? Has anyone ever tasted a ranch? :D

It's a closely-guarded recipe, but I've been told that it includes cow pies, prairie dust, saddle soap, and essence of sweaty cowboy. :P

No. ;)
Why can't they be more specific? I notice that for a lot of ads; the advertisers say that is supposed to taste like , but they don't give adequate details.
Back on topic... I have tasted Hidden Valley Ranch dressing, but I didn't like it.

It originally was a salad dressing/dip for veggies. It's a cream based, with spices/herbs, sometimes, minced veggies.
