Subject: Why do some people hate the rock band P.O.D.?

Why do some people dislike P.O.D. so much? I go in the Metal chatroom and try to chat about them,and people say"christians! eww!" and "POD S****" And the band get called "wetbacks" because they are Mexican Americans(with the exception of bassist Traa);. I guess the metal fans in the chats must be kids who think anything"God" is dorky. I don't think all Christians are uncool-I know the guys in P.O.D. are way cool in my opinion!

"Youth As The Nation"? Blechhh, that makes "Electric Youth" (Debbie Gibson) sound like "Rhythm Nation (Janet Jackson).


And I have Latino friends who also dislike P.O.D.  :D

In my opinion -

I'm not a whole lot into today's music, but I do like P.O.D.'s tune "Youth Of A Nation". The tune's interesting and the music is good. I don't know about anything else they've done, but I try to keep an open mind.

I've certainly heard worse.

I've only heard 2 of their tunes "Youth Of A Nation" and "Alive" and I liked them both.

Just not into them.  I'm a Christian, so nothing against Christians or Christian music.  But yeah, their music sucks terribly.

I liked Alive, but they went a bit downhill from there. It's nice that they're trying to spread the word of God, though, and they're not pressuring people into becoming Christians either.

11th here:  Yeah I am not fond of their music at all...and it isn't even about race or religion.  Musically, they suck.   ::)

Their music just never grabbed my attention.
