Subject: Can Kerry beat Bush?
It looks like John Kerry, will be the leading Democratic Candidate.
But can he really beat George W. Bush?
In some ways, I agree with Bush's ideas, in others, I definately favor Kerry's Socialist(That's not a bad word) Government Programs to make life more bearable for the rest of us. Either way, I feel like I loose no matter who I vote for.
But then, again, some people say all economic/political systems are Bad and "evil" because it's not God's perfect rule.
I just hope that their is no massive confusion over voter intent.

After all, a Reasonable distribution of Wealth, I think is better for all Americans,
And I believe it would reduce crime, and Anti-Semitism, which affects Jews and Non-Jews.
In bad economic times, people blame Jews.
Does anyone worry that their might be another Great Depression.

Is it right of someone to call Howard Dean, Howard "The Coward" Dean.
It looks like he is losing the chance to be the main Democratic candidate.
But would John Kerry loose votes for being "Half-Jewish" some have said he is a "Self-hating Half Jew" like
General Wesley Clark.

I doubt that Kerry will beat Bush and here is why:
His personality and "vocal delivery" leave one with the impression that he is talking down to people. And I suspect that the majority of Southern Voters will percieve him as thinking that he is better than them.
Kerry is part of the problem. A Washington insider who spends all his time bashing Bush, but very little time saying just what he WOULD do.
His wife, Teresa Heinz is a real piece of work (I mean that as a compliment). She is not afraid to speak her mind, and does not care what anyone thinks about it.

One thing I will say about Edwards, he is a real cutie. In terms of what he has to say, not bad. He seems ok. Not great, but ok. If it was between Edwards and Bush-you can guess where my vote will go. ANYONE but Bush.

I don't know at this point. I think that I am going to wait until a Dem is nominated. There are too many candidates right now...narrow it down to one on one then I will read more about them.
Although, I like Kerry's wife, too.

Yeah, I don't think John Kerry will beat Bush either. Bush has all the Southern states locked up, and he pretty much owns a lot of those farmland states more north like Nebraska that tend to be more hee-haw and hick in their mentality. People in those states probably look at John Kerry as some kind of no good un-American communist that supports Al-Qauda and other terrorists, wants to help out minorities, and give more rights to gays.
The only way for Democrats to win the preisdency is to nominate a Southern liberal. Only a liberal from the South can calm down those cowboys and win over their trust. Just look at Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton as great examples. The only two Democrats to get to the White House since the Civil Rights movement of the 1960's have been from the South.
So the way to go is John Edwards. He's a Southern liberal, and a guy that I can see Billy Bob and Jeb trusting far more then "some uppity Northern Democrat".

I forgot to mention that Kerry, despite an admirable and honorable record of service in the military, has an ENORMOUS skeleton in his closet.
After his return from 'Nam, he regularly associated with Jane "Hanoi Jane" Fonda, who knowingly and deliberately associated with enemy forces.
Even the most stringent anti-Nam-War people that I know think that Jane is a piece of crap because she associated herself with the enemy. It is one thing to oppose a war. It is quite another to fraternize with the enemy.
I am not saying that Kerry was unpatriotic by any means. But his Hanoi Jane association will be used to paint him as the flaming liberal that he is.
